The RCI-IIBEC Foundation has partnered again with the nonprofit CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) to accept real estate donations that benefit the RCI-IIBEC Foundation (US only).
The donation program takes all property types (land, homes, commercial) in any location so long as there is equity—even if you owe back taxes, have a mortgage balance, or have deferred maintenance on the property. The program will pay off all loans, liens, commissions owed, and all closing costs. If you have real estate that is costing you money or not being used, consider donating it as a way to give back. Depending on your tax situation, you may even claim a significant tax deduction.

“Here is another great opportunity for our members to support the foundation,” stated David Hawn, F-IIBEC, RRC, CEM, chair of RCI-IIBEC Foundation. “Now you can donate money, stock, vehicles, and property to help the foundation’s general fund for research and education, all while getting a tax break!”
