IIBEC Members, Staff Present at MCA

IIBEC Senior Director of Technical Services Emily Lorenz, PE, F-ACI, joined IIBEC members Patrick Reicher, REWC, SE, and Jason Wilen, RRO, AIA, CDT, in a panel discussion during the Metal Construction Association’s (MCA) summer meeting on June 14, 2023. The audience heard from the panelists on “Emerging Trends in Building Enclosure Design and Construction.” Topics included delegated design responsibilities, the complexity of building projects and the increased need for coordination, and energy code provisions—including new thermal bridging and tightening air leakage requirements.
