The 2016 RCI Building Envelope Symposium was a huge success, with a record attendance of 340 attendees and 35 exhibitors, an excellent lineup of speakers, and a wide variety of building envelope-related topics. It is an honor to be the chairwoman of such an important and widely attended RCI event. It was exciting to see many return attendees, as well as first-timers from our engineering and architectural community.
The feedback from attendees received throughout the event was extremely positive for every aspect, from cutting-edge presentations and quality speakers, to the exciting Houston Galleria venue. There was also plenty of time allotted for networking opportunities.
A special thank you to the symposium committee members, exhibiting sponsors, the RCI Board of Directors, and RCI staff for their support. They make this event such a positive and engaging learning and networking experience. I encourage each attendee to fill out the surveys emailed to you at the end of the symposium if you haven’t already done so. With your feedback and continued high volume of submitted abstracts, we will make next year’s symposium another success.
