Friday, July 21, 2023, was a red-letter day for the IIBEC Great Lakes Chapter. The chapter started the day with a ribbon cutting at the Strive Centers for Autism New Children’s Playground Project. Attending was Immediate Past President Zack Davis and his family. The chapter was proud to partially fund the construction of the playground with $25,000 raised at the 2022 Charity Golf outing.
After the excitement of the morning, the chapter held its tailgate party (with 91 attendees) at the Detroit Tigers game. Even though the Tigers couldn’t pull off the victory, a good time was had by all.
