RCI, Inc., an international association of professional consultants, architects, and engineers who specialize in the building envelope arena, is pleased to announce that the RCI Foundation is again providing funding for up to 25 full-time undergraduate college students to attend the RCI 33rd International Convention and Trade Show. This year’s convention will be held in Houston, Texas, on March 22-27, 2018. Through this funding, convention registration and travel expenses are covered for students awarded the convention sponsorship, as well as a one-year student RCI membership.
To be eligible, students must be undergraduate students enrolled full-time in architecture, architectural engineering, structural or civil engineering, construction management or other related areas of study. Up to 25 students are eligible to attend the convention. Eligible students may receive the funding twice. Depending on availability, up to three students from the same university may be selected.
The sponsorship includes RCI convention registration, up to four nights lodging at the convention hotel, reimbursement for meals, cost of travel up to $400 (receipts required), and a one-year RCI student membership.

Students interested in receiving the convention sponsorship should complete the application, a letter of recommendation from a professor, and an essay explaining their field of study and what they hope to gain by attending the RCI International Convention and Trade Show. The application and all supporting documentation must be received no later than February 12, 2018. Please share this information with any qualifying student you believe may benefit from attending the RCI convention.
