This year’s Foundation Auction is now going to be both in-person and online… giving IIBEC members and industry supporters who are unable to attend the Phoenix event on September 18 the opportunity to make gifts and bid on live and silent auction items.
“With restrictions and complications due to the COVID, the Foundation wanted to set up a paperless system for this year’s auction. Moving things online allows so many more people, their friends, and family to participate and support both the RCI-IIBEC Foundation and the RCI Foundation Canada,” said Mike Blanchette, Chair of the RCI-IIBEC Foundation.
Some of the features of having an online silent auction…
You can place a bid and the system will notify you both by email and text if you have been outbid.
You can buy some items before the auction closes!
You can set up automatic bidding! With autobidding, every time your bid is raised by another bidder, the site will place another bid for you at the minimum raise amount. This will continue every time you are raised until the next minimum raise would exceed your maximum bid amount.
How to join in the Fun…Sign up! You can sign up and preview both the live and silent auction online at: https://2021foundationsonline.asimobile.net
The silent auction portion of this year’s event goes live on Thursday, September 16, at 5:00 p.m. Arizona time (8:00 p.m. Eastern, 5:00 p.m. Pacific) and closes by section on Saturday, September 18 (with the first section closing at 6:15 p.m., the second section at 6:35 p.m., and the last section at 6:55 p.m.).
And finally, you can even participate in the live auction remotely! If you are unable to be there in person for the live auction in Phoenix, you can submit a proxy bid via email to Rick Gardner, Foundation Development officer 24 hours before the live event.
This is what you’ll need to do:
Thank you for your support and we hope to “see you” at this year’s Foundation event!
