The application process both for sponsorships to attend the 2023 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show and for academic scholarship program awards are now open, the RCI-IIBEC Foundation and RCI Foundation Canada announced January 9, 2023.
The foundations will be providing funding for up to 40 full-time undergraduate and graduate students to attend this year’s convention in Houston, Texas, March 3–6, 2023. To be eligible, students must be enrolled full-time in architecture, architectural engineering, structural or civil engineering, construction management, building sciences, or other related areas of study. Eligible students may receive the funding twice. Depending on availability, up to three students from the same university may be selected.
The sponsorship includes convention registration, up to four nights lodging at the convention hotel, reimbursement for meals, cost of travel up to $750 (receipts required), and a one-year IIBEC student membership.
Additionally, academic scholarship program applications are now being accepted through April 6, 2023, for the Robert W. Lyons and RCI Lewis W. Newlan awards. Applications and more information can be found at https://learnmore.scholarsapply.org/rci-iibecfoundation/.
