IIBEC is pleased to announce the results of its 2026 region director election, which was held January 5 through February 6. The winners are:
Region IV: Mallory Buckley, RRO, PE Region V: André Coppin, RRC, RRO, RA Region VI: Jon Solland, RRC, RWC, RRO (re-elected for a second term)
Buckley and Coppin, as well as the re-elected Solland, join these previously elected IIBEC region directors: Norman Crouse, RRO (Region I); Nicolas Tribble, RRO (Region II); Charles T. Sietmann, RRC, RRO, REWO, CCCA, CIT (Region III); and Stephanie M. Robinson, BASc, PEng (Region VII).
“Thank you to everyone who voted in our region director election,” said IIBEC President Chris Dawkins, PE. “I know that Mallory and André will be great additions to our board, and I look forward to Jon’s continued contributions.”

Region directors are elected by the voting membership base, pursuant to Article 10 of the IIBEC Bylaws and Section III. B, of the IIBEC Policy Guidelines. IIBEC region directors are elected to serve for a two-year term, and are eligible for two consecutive terms.
