Saul Retires from Aquatech
Charlie Saul, Principal, Aquatech Consultancy, Inc., AAMA Accredited Field Test Agency, has retired after 14 years. A hands-on designer and general building contractor, Saul brought more than 30 years of experience to Aquatech in the fields of testing and resolving water infiltration issues. Saul made good use of RCI (now IIBEC)’s educational opportunities, including contributing articles to Interface. Saul was super proud to earn the RBEC designation #0010; among the first group.
Saul is eager to catch up on the many interests he continues to enjoy including construction, woodworking (especially woodturning), and generally kicking back with his wife Lori.
Zale Promoted
On December 4, 2019, Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates, Inc. (WJE) announced the promotion of IIBEC Member Joseph Zale to Associate Principal. Zale has been with WJE since 2004, and focuses on exterior wall and roofing system evaluations and the integration of the two. He has been involved in building restoration with a variety of materials, including brick masonry, terra cotta, stone, roofing and waterproofing, and window and curtain wall systems. Zale joined IIBEC in 2013, and earned his RRO in 2015.
