The Miami-Dade County Building Department stepped up its online Roofing Permitting Application System to allow contractors to apply for permits from the county’s Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources Construction, Permitting, & Building Code Division. The newest ePermitting System application made available during the COVID-19 pandemic allowed applications for installation of metal roof panels for use by licensed roofing contractors via the department’s website.
