The National Women in Roofing (NWiR) organization has partnered with Canadian Roofing Contractors Association (CRCA) to establish a Canadian Council of the NWiR. Technical Manager Wendy Fraser, PEng, of CRCA, will join the board of directors for NWiR’s Canadian Council and serve as its membership chair. Lillianne Dunstall will chair the NWiR Canadian Council. Dunstall has been involved with NWiR since its inception in 2016, and worked for Tremco for nearly two decades, having recently retired.
“I am so impressed with the organization that when this opportunity presented itself, I had to come out of retirement and hop on board.” said Dunstall.
NWiR and CRCA representatives say they are excited to bring NWiR’s four pillars of support—mentoring, education, networking, and recruiting—to women in roofing in Canada.
