IIBEC’s Project Excel advances that journey through purposeful connections, shared expertise, and guided career development, no matter what stage you are in your career.

Project Excel – Eligibility

Mentors:

  • Must be an active member of IIBEC for at least 2 years;

  • Should participate in local chapter;

  • Must be either employed in, or retired from the building enclosure industry;

  • Must have time available for a minimum of one hour each month for the duration of the mentorship period;

  • Must complete mentor application.

Mentees:

  • Must be an active member of IIBEC (includes student memberships);

  • Must be employed or seeking employment in the building enclosure industry;

  • Must have time available for a minimum of one hour each month for the duration of the mentorship period;

  • Must complete mentee application.

Program Timeline

November 3, 2025 – January 16, 2026
Mentee application portal open
Mentor applications taken throughout the year

 

January-February 2026
Application review and pairing

 

End of February-Beginning of March 2026
Mentor/Mentee pairings announced

 

March-September 2026
Program Duration – Mentors/mentees expected to meet for at least one hour each month
