Questionable Public Procurement Questionnaire
IIBEC relies on members to identify questionable public procurements. For example, it appears the designer of record is conflicted, design work is being done by a manufacturer, or proprietary products are specified, competition is circumvented, etc.
IIBEC opposes the use of cooperative programs for the procurement of design and construction services for public projects.
IIBEC advocates for the use of independent design consultants with no financial interest in products specified and installed on all public projects to protect the public’s interest and safety.
IIBEC advocates for full and open competition in all public procurements. Read
