First and foremost, instead of the half a dozen staff members who were planning to attend the Canadian Building Envelope Symposium, there will be two representatives who have volunteered to travel even though they may be stuck in Canada for a few extra days while they wait for the weather to clear here in North Carolina. The staff had a conference call this morning with members of the CBES committee to make sure duties are covered.
We are also putting steps in place to minimize any disruption to normal operations. All staff members now have laptops and are able to work from home in the event that there is flooding or anything else preventing people from physically getting to the office.
