SIGDERS Says Thank You to Phil Dregger

The mandate of SIGDERS’s joint research program is to carry out generic, precompetitive research of benefit to all its members. Representing IIBEC, Dregger attended SIGDERS meetings for the last 20 years by traveling all the way from Canada’s west coast to Ottawa. At the SIGDERS summer meeting, Dregger passed the torch to Ted Sheridan, F-IIBEC, RBEC, PEng, as IIBEC’s representative at SIGDERS.

Longtime IIBEC member Michael Hoecherl, RRC, RWC, RRO, died December 15, 2023, after a brief illness. According to a published obituary, “Mike was a highly successful salesman in commercial roofing winning multiple sales awards throughout a career that spanned over 40 years with different companies across Texas. … Mike was a natural salesman, and his outgoing personality will be missed by those who knew and loved him.”
