IIBEC Announces Winners of Its EBEC Awards

–The Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting Awards, now in their second year, went to winners in four categories–

Orlando, Florida—The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) awarded its Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting (EBEC) Awards—now in their second year—to winners in four categories. The awards, handed out March 8 during the 2025 IIBEC International Conference and Trade Show in Orlando, Florida, went to building enclosure consultants for the following projects:

Commissioning: “The Heartland Community College Agriculture Complex,” submitted by John Wagner, AIA, NCARB, LEED GA, of Baumann Consulting

Building Enclosure: “The Butterfly,” submitted by Joshua Chambers, RRO, of RDH Building Science Inc.

Roofing: “The High Museum of Art: Wieland Pavilion and Anne Cox Chambers Wing Roof Replacement,” submitted by Bryce McQueen, AIA, NCARB, of Merick Inc.

Exterior Wall: “Ramova Theater Adaptive Reuse,” submitted by Patrick Giblin, RRC, RRO, of Wiss, Janney, Elstner Associates Inc.

“When we started the EBEC Awards last year, we hoped the program would be embraced by the industry,” said IIBEC Executive Vice President and CEO Brian Pallasch. “This group of winners confirms that the EBEC Awards reflect the best building enclosure projects from the industry’s top consultants.”

The 2025 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show was held March 6–9 in Orlando, Florida.
