IIBEC has announced several staffing updates in recent weeks.
Laura Kury, IIBEC’s Operations Specialist: Laura has retired effective May 28, 2026. She has been a valued member of the IIBEC team, contributing significantly to the organization’s day-to-day operations and overall effectiveness. Her dedication, professionalism, and institutional knowledge have made a lasting impact, and she will be greatly missed.
Taylor Scott, Manager of Digital Marketing: Taylor, who started in early April. brings a strong background in strategic communications and media analytics, along with hands-on experience executing multichannel marketing campaigns and driving audience engagement. She most recently served as a marketing associate, where she has led email campaigns reaching thousands of subscribers, managed social media content across multiple platforms, and supported integrated marketing initiatives that strengthen brand visibility and engagement. Taylor is also pursuing her Master of Science in Data Analytics, which adds a valuable layer of data-driven insight to her marketing expertise. Her combination of creativity, technical skills, and passion for storytelling makes her a great addition to our team.
Kaitlin Tilton, Education Specialist: Kaitlin, who started in April, brings a strong background in education, marketing, and administration. Most recently, she has been working with the Wake County Public School System as a substitute teacher, and prior to that spent several years at the North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA) as a professional development coordinator, where she was the main contact for customized continuing education. Kaitlin earned her B.A. in Sociology from UNC Charlotte.
Connor Dubrule, Manager of Membership Development: Connor, who joined the team on May 4, 2026, brings a strong background in membership strategy, engagement, and operations within a large, global member-based organization. He has led efforts to strengthen member engagement, improve data-driven decision-making, and enhance the overall member experience at scale, supporting a network of hundreds of chapters and a broad member base. In this role, Connor will play a key part in advancing IIBEC’s membership growth and engagement priorities.
Samantha Bundy, Senior Manager of Chapter Relations: Samantha, who joined the team on May 18, 2026, brings extensive experience in association management, governance, and member engagement. Most recently, she served as executive director for the American Society for Cytology, where she led national operations, supported board leadership, and strengthened member programs and organizational strategy. She has a strong track record of working with volunteer-led organizations, supporting chapters and building systems that improve engagement and consistency across regions. In her role at IIBEC, Samantha will serve as a key liaison between chapters and national leadership, supporting chapter operations, governance, and engagement initiatives across our network.
Tiffany Terhart, Operations Specialist: Tiffany joins us with more than five years of experience in operations coordination, office administration, employee support, and event planning. Her background includes roles with Pendo, Funcom, and Wolfspeed, where she helped drive efficient operations and create positive workplace experiences. Tiffany will be supporting our staff and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the organization.
