RCI-IIBEC Foundation Participating in Cartober

Do you have a vehicle that’s just sitting idle in your driveway? Why not put it to good use and support a great cause? The RCI-IIBEC Foundation’s Cartober campaign is here to help you do just that!  

Cartober participant Rich Chapman Jr., RRO, shared his experience with the campaign. “My daughter’s car has had a dead engine for the last year,” he recalled. “It wasn’t worth the cost of a new engine to fix it. Donating the car to the foundation was a win-win for my family and the foundation. It was nice to get rid of the car. It removed the eyesore from our driveway and contributed to a great cause.”  

By donating your car, truck, motorcycle, boat, or even a plane, you too can support the foundation’s mission of research, education, and information sharing in the building enclosure. Plus, the foundation will pick up your vehicle for free and provide you with the necessary paperwork for a tax deduction. So why wait? Cartober: Here’s how it works. 

1. Complete the online donation form at https://cartober.com/donate-now/rci-iibec-foundation-inc. The vehicle donation support team is available seven days a week and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
2. Schedule a free pickup. We arrange to have a licensed tow company pick up your vehicle at a convenient time and at no cost to you. When the driver arrives to tow your vehicle, you’ll be provided with a donation receipt for a tax deduction.
3. The foundation receives the funds from your vehicle’s sale, working to get the highest return both for your tax benefit and to best support our cause. You will be mailed a thank-you letter, which also serves as a donation tax receipt, within 30 days of the sale of the vehicle.
