Foundation Participating in ‘Cartober’

We all have the power to drive change, and this October, you can too.

Let the RCI-IIBEC Foundation take your old or unwanted vehicle off your hands as part of “Cartober.” When you donate your car, truck, motorcycle or boat as part of Cartober, the proceeds from your vehicle’s sale go directly to support the foundation’s mission of research, education, and information sharing in the building enclosure space. And after the foundation picks up your vehicle for free, it will provide you with the paperwork for a tax deduction!

Here’s how it works.

  1. Complete the online donation form at The vehicle donation support team is available seven days a week and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
  1. Schedule a free pickup. We arrange to have a licensed tow company pick up your vehicle at a convenient time and at no cost to you. When the driver arrives to tow your vehicle, you’ll be provided with a donation receipt for a tax deduction.
  1. The foundation receives the funds from your vehicle’s sale, working to get the highest return both for your tax benefit and to best support our cause. You will be mailed a thank-you letter, which also serves as a donation tax receipt, within 30 days of the sale of the vehicle.
