IIBEC Leadership Workshop Convenes in Raleigh

IIBEC held its 2021 IIBEC Leadership Development Workshop—an annual event presented this year both in-person and virtually—in Raleigh, North Carolina, headquarters November 4–5, 2021. Sponsored by IB Roof, Lightning Protection Institute, and Situra, the event included nine presentations, four breakout sessions, a Leadership Town Hall, a tour of IIBEC headquarters, and a reception.

This year’s event drew leaders from 23 IIBEC affiliated chapters and six branches. IIBEC President Ted Sheridan, RBEC, RRC, REWC, RWC, PEng, and IIBEC First Vice President Chris Giffin, RRC, AIA, attended, as did IIBEC region directors. IIBEC Chapter Development Committee Chair Steve Drennan served as master of ceremonies. That committee, which spearheads the event each year, facilitates IIBEC chapter success through the creation and maintenance of chapter leadership resources, many of which were reviewed during the workshop.
