How to Manage Your RCI NewsFeed and Email Preferences

Did you know you can easily manage the type and frequency of emails you receive from RCI?

Members receive several different kinds of email communications from RCI. Each has different options for managing or opting out from future emails.

RCI NewsFeed

The RCI NewsFeed is a subscription service that informs members of news updates and content additions to the RCI website.  You can identify a NewsFeed email by its subject line. NewsFeed emails always include the words “NewsPosts from RCI, Inc.” as part of the subject line.

You can personalize the type of information you receive and the frequency of NewsFeed emails by scrolling to the bottom of any NewsFeed email and selecting the link “update my email preferences.”

The link will take you to a webpage where you can modify the frequency of the NewsFeed transmission.  Frequency choices include daily, weekly, or monthly.

The daily setting doesn’t mean you will receive daily emails, rather that you will be notified on any day when something new is added to the RCI website – generally twice a week.

Weekly and monthly settings ensure you will get emails at those intervals, which encapsulate the various news items added to the website since your last weekly or monthly email.

Additionally, you can select from three content categories that allow you to fine tune the types of news you will see from the NewsFeed. General RCI, Inc. news, industry news, or marketing-related news are your choices.

You can opt-out of receiving NewsFeed emails by selecting the “unsubscribe from this list” link at the bottom of the email.

Event-Specific Mass Emails

Periodically, RCI sends emails promoting events and educational programs. These emails are most frequent during the lead up to the Convention and Building Envelope Technology Symposium.

You can opt-out of receiving event-specific emails by selecting the “unsubscribe from this list” link at the bottom of the event-related email.

 Emails from Staff

RCI staff members will sometimes email you regarding membership and registration program services. You cannot opt out from receiving these types of communications.

Emails from Regions or Chapter Groups

Region directors and chapters maintain their own mailing lists, and they may contact you from time to time with region or chapter news.

You can opt-out of receiving emails from regions or chapters by selecting the “unsubscribe from this list” link at the bottom of their emails.
