Mid South Chapter Extends Invitation for Hands-on Workshop in Nashville, TN

The RCI Mid South Chapter welcomes anyone who would like to attend an exciting event in Nashville, TN on November 30, 2016. RCI members can earn 8 CEHs. Admittance is free and open to any RCI member regardless of chapter/region affiliation. The workshop includes the following experiences:

1. Hot Rubber Waterproofing – This station will consist of hot rubber installation. Attendees will be watching and learning but this will NOT be hands on due to the risk of injury. A safe environment will be maintained by trained personnel and a safe distance will be maintained by attendees.
2. Self-Adhered Sheet Waterproofing – This station will consist of sheet waterproofing on prefabricated mock-ups. Attendees will participate in installing material.
3. Cold-Applied Waterproofing – This station will consist of cold-applied waterproofing on prefabricated mock-ups. Attendees will participate in installing material.
4. Fluid Applied Air Barrier – This station will consist of fluid applied air barrier on prefabricated mock-ups. Attendees will participate in installing material.
5. Wing Type Expansion Joint – This station will consist of wing expansion joint on prefabricated mock-ups. Attendees will participate in installing material.
6. Compression Type Expansion Joint – This station will consist of compression type expansion joint on prefabricated mock-ups. Attendees will participate in installing material.
7. Urethane Sealant – This station will consist of urethane joint sealant on prefabricated mock-ups. Attendees will participate in installing material.
8. Silicone Sealant – This station will consist of silicone sealant on prefabricated mock-ups. Attendees will participate in installing material.

The chapter will also have breakfast, lunch, and dinner (and time to network/socialize). The event will take place at 4061 Powell Ave., Nashville, TN 37204.
