Ohio Valley Chapter Presents Roofing Award

The Ohio Valley Chapter of RCI, Inc. (OVC-RCI) established an Outstanding Roofing Contractors Award in 2016. All OVC-RCI members were eligible to nominate a roofing contractor to receive this award, based on a project that a contractor had completed this past year. Those nominees were then reviewed by an awards committee comprised of their peers, and then the recipient was then selected.

The award was nominated by Dave Fransen, RRC, of CTL for reroofing of Sutter Elementary in Powell, Ohio. This is the first year for the award, and the contractor selected was Damschroeder Roofing, located in Fremont, Ohio. The award was presented to representatives of Damschroeder at the OVC-RCI Education Day session held on November 1st at the Columbus Convention Center. Damschroeder Roofing received special recognition for site management and meeting all schedules and manpower requirements. They were also noted for their excellent communication on the progress of the project. They avoided any re-working, and punch list items were minimal.

Nomination forms will be sent out soon for next year’s award, and there are separate awards for both Ohio and Indiana contractors.

Congratulations to Damschroeder Roofing for being the first award recipient selected by OVC-RCI.
