IIBEC committees recommend policy to the board of directors. These member-powered groups offer the opportunity to actively shape the direction of the association.
The IIBEC board is elected on an annual basis by majority vote of IIBEC Consultant members. The board consists of five elected officers and seven elected region directors.
Locally-oriented, volunteer-run groups serving IIBEC members' needs through education, networking, social events, and more. IIBEC chapters are always looking for motivated volunteers to serve in various capacities
Mentorship is one of the strongest tools for professional growth. IIBEC's Project Excel pairs members based on interest, expertise, career stage and goals to help each other reach their full potential. Mentors are accepted year-round with mentees accepted in the fall.
The RCI-IIBEC Foundation looks for hosts each year to meet and mentor a student at IIBEC's International Convention and Trade Show and/or the Building Enclosure Symposium. Share a meal, make a friend, and support the next generation of consulting.
