The Roofing Industry Committee on Weather Issues, Inc. (RICOWI) is soliciting volunteers for their Wind Investigation Program (WIP).
RICOWI’s WIP team enters an affected area immediately after a significant hurricane to empirically assess roof system performance against category three and above hurricane events.
The RICOWI WIP team is watching Hurricane Matthew closely and is preparing to deploy. There is a strong possibility the hurricane will hit the coast as a category three or higher storm.
