IIBEC Now Accepting Nominations for 2nd Annual EBEC Awards
–Nominations Open Through September 30, 2024–
Raleigh, North Carolina—The International Institute of Building Enclosure Consultants (IIBEC) on August 1, 2024, announced that it was accepting nominations for its second annual Excellence in Building Enclosure Consulting (EBEC) Awards. The EBEC Awards recognize outstanding contributions by building enclosure professionals, their collaborators, and their clients in support of the design, delivery, and advancement of building enclosure performance in one or more of the categories of roofing, exterior wall, waterproofing, building enclosure, and commissioning.
EBEC nominations can be submitted via IIBEC’s awards portal at iibec.org/ebec. Winners will be recognized at the 2024 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show, March 6–9, 2024, in Orlando, Florida. New this year: All award winners will be invited to participate in a general session in Orlando, providing a brief overview of their project and participating in a moderated Q&A immediately following IIBEC’s annual awards ceremony.
“We laid a great foundation last year with our inaugural winners of the new EBEC Awards,” said IIBEC Executive Vice President and CEO Brian Pallasch. “We’re excited to see how this year’s group of nominees further advances the profession of building enclosure consulting.”
“The EBEC Awards are a chance for building enclosure consultants to showcase the industry’s most outstanding projects,” said IIBEC President Robért Hinojosa. “I look forward to honoring our winners during IIBEC’s annual convention and trade show next March.”
