ASHRAE on May 19, 2023, opened for public review and comment a BSR/ASHRAE/IES addendum to Standard 90.1-2022, Energy Standard for Sites and Buildings Except Low-Rise Residential Buildings. The appendix highlights needed modifications that aim to achieve zero emission requirements. ASHRAE said that jurisdictions will have flexibility in terms of their timeline for reaching the zero-emission target. The comment period goes through June 18, 2023. Read more
