February 2023 President’s Message: Keep Warm and Looking Forward

By the time you read this column, winter will have fully settled in for most of us. While some people might like winter sports, cold brisk air, and playing in the snow, many of us are mostly thinking of ways we can stay warm. For many building enclosure consultants, winter is also the time of the year when there is slightly more office work and a little less field work. Thanks to “Old Man Winter,” my teammates and I had just three working days on a reroofing project last month. As a result, when the weather breaks, we will definitely need to make up some time in the schedule.
