The RCI-IIBEC Foundation and RCI Foundation Canada are pleased to announce that they will be providing funding for up to 25 full-time college students to attend the 2022 IIBEC Convention and Trade Show, March 17–22 in Orlando, Florida. Through the recently renamed Joe Hale Student Sponsorship Fund, convention registration, hotel, and travel expenses—as well as a one-year IIBEC membership—are covered for students.
To qualify, an applicant must be a full-time student (at least 12 credit hours per semester) enrolled in architecture; architectural, structural or civil engineering; construction management; building sciences; or other related areas of study. Up to 25 students are eligible to receive this funding, twice with priority going to undergraduate students. Up to three students from the same university may be selected.
The sponsorship includes IIBEC convention registration, up to four nights’ lodging (single occupancy) at the convention hotel, a stipend for meals not covered, cost of travel up to $500 USD (receipts required), and a one-year IIBEC student membership.

Students interested in receiving the convention sponsorship should submit the completed application, a letter of recommendation from a professor, and an essay explaining their field of study and what they hope to gain by attending the 2022 IIBEC International Convention and Trade Show.
The application and all supporting documentation must be received no later than February 11, 2022. Please share this information with any qualifying student you believe may benefit from attending the convention.
