The Region II meeting will include five hours of professional development presentations (four topics lasting 1.25 hours each). The presentations include: Problematic Low-Slope Roof Decks and Proper Slope Design Considerations by Scott Coffman, PE (CSE); Condensation within Roof Deck Assemblies and Case Study by Jim Kirby, AIA (GAF); Fenestrations Assemblies Testing and Case Studies With Emphasis on Curtain Wall Systems by Chris Lipp, PE, LEED (WJE); and Six Methodologies for Re-covering an Existing Roof Using Metal Retrofit Assemblies by Charlie Smith (McElroy Metal).
The region meeting will also include a formal session of the members present to discuss our ongoing transition to IIBEC and the goal of increasing branches and chapters throughout Region II.
