The RCI Foundation (soon to be RCI-IIBEC Foundation) got a very special year-end gift from its members on this year’s Giving Tuesday: $23,675 in donations for our student scholarship funds. Our goal was $20,000, but thanks to IIBEC members and the industry, we were able to surpass it! All gifts on Giving Tuesday were made in support of the Robert W. Lyons and Lewis W. Newlan educational scholarships and the IIBEC Convention Student Participation Fund.
Highlights included videos from students, donors, and Foundation Board members; juggling by Senior Director of Membership and Registrations Alec Jeffries; pies in the face of numerous staff members, including IIBEC Executive Vice President and CEO Brian Pallasch, Manager of Region & Chapter Relations Tara Cottle, and Director of Educational Services Jennifer Roller; and Foundation Development Officer Rick Gardner having his head shaved.

The Foundation continues to accept gifts in support of these student scholarship funds as well as the General Fund for Research and Education.
