“It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our friend and colleague, Ronald ‘Ron’ Vollmer. Ron most recently served as our vice president, global commercial roofing, and was a well-known and highly respected roofing industry expert with a notable career spanning over 30 years in industrial chemicals, 19 of which focused on commercial roofing.
Beyond his professional contributions, Ron was a devoted family man and a great friend to many. He was a kind-hearted person who truly wanted the best for everyone around him and was always willing to share his time and knowledge to help others. His energy, drive, and determination were an inspiration to us all.
Our thoughts and sincere condolences are with Ron’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.”
Vollmer joined IIBEC in March of 2011 and attended more than a dozen IIBEC conventions.
